Tear Bears are coming!

NEW! Take the work out of cutting out face pieces for your tear bears and other torn art animals. We are working on our Tear Bear face sets, and hope to have the photos uploaded this weekend. We currently offer faces in bear (black noses) and kitten (pink noses), both of which can be used for other animals as well. Eyes are included in colors such as blue, green, yellow, and multi. Our sets even include black pupils for the eyes, if you prefer to have fully paper pieced eyes instead of drawing the pupils with a pen.

We are also almost finished developing new Tear Animals, and will have patterns available soon. Photos coming soon of Tear Animals -- these are especially cute on Baby Pages, Early Childhood Pages, and Zoo pages but can be adapted for other themes as well. We will be adding layout samples as time permits.

One of the great ways to use fibers is to attach other embellishments to your scrapbook pages (or handmade cards) with them

you can dangle punched shapes, fancy buttons, charms, etc.
fibers can be used to "sew" a button on a page, or to add a button to another embellishment
beads or sequins can be threaded onto thin fibers

make wisps of smoke or steam coming from a chimney, locomotive, or cup of hot chocolate, coffee, or tea, cooking pot, or cooling pie

try just stitching the stems and/or leaves and then using our Silk Flower Embellishments for the petals

if you have a stamped image on your layout, look for parts that can be layered over with fibers
